Perinatal Resource List for Southern Maine Area

5 min read

Thank GOD that I put together this list for my postpartum doula certification before I got pregnant with our second baby. We lost our first baby and with my second pregnancy, I literally sit here most days thinking, "Who on earth do I need to see for xyz and where do I even start?" and "Alexa, who do I need to call to help with the back pain this tiny terror I am growing is causing me?" It's funny how every bit of your education, training, and experience goes out of the window when it's your baby and pregnancy. So I present to you, my forever long list of resources for pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond. This list was updated October 2026 and will continue to be updated and added to as time goes on.
